The HCTB menu is available only if your organization has purchased both Comparative Analysis (CA) and Here Comes the Bus (HCTB). If you don't have these modules and would like to add them, contact your fleet advisor or project manager.

HCTB Accounts is a management interface that enables Synovia users to assist parents with their HCTB accounts, including viewing account data, launching the HCTB Proxy, checking notification history, sending parents messages through the UI, resetting passwords, and deleting accounts.

This article describes the various features of the HCTB Accounts screen, which you access by clicking  >> HCTB Accounts.

These are the options at the top right of the screen:

Note: Most of these options are grayed out when you first open the screen but will become available when you select one of the parent's accounts.

• : Enables you to map PvA data for the student, stop, and date you choose. (See Launching PvA by Stop from the HCTB Accounts Screen for details.)
   
• : Begins the process of mapping the history for the vehicle the student is assigned to for the time of day and date you specify. (See Mapping Vehicle History from the HCTB Accounts Screen for details.)
   
• : Opens a list of the notifications the HCTB account holder received in the last seven days. (See Viewing a HCTB Account Holder's Notification History for details.)
   
• : Resets the password for the selected HCTB account holder. (See Resetting a HCTB Password for details.)
   
• : Begins the process of creating a message to send to the selected HCTB account holder. (See Sending a Message to an Individual HCTB Account Holder for details.)
   
• : Deletes the selected account. (See Deleting a HCTB Account for details.)
   
• : Saves the grid data as a PDF you can print.
   
• : Exports the grid data to an Excel spreadsheet.

Here is an explanation of the grid icons and column headers:

• : Opens the Account Details dialog box for the account holder. (See Viewing the Details of a HCTB Account for details.)
   
• : Launches the HCTB Proxy, showing what the account holder sees on the Here Comes the Bus website. (See Using the HCTB Proxy for details.)
   
• Account Name: The name of the HCTB account holder.
   
• Email Address: The email address the account holder logs in to Here Comes the Bus with.
   
• Student Name(s): The name(s) of the student(s) added to the HCTB account.
   
• Student ID(s): The school ID number(s) for the student(s).

Along the bottom of the screen are icons that enable you to navigate through the pages of data, if needed. See Paging Options for an explanation of these.
