If you need to delete a Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) account or multiple accounts, you can do so on the HCTB Accounts screen, as follows:
Note: To view the basic details of a parent's HCTB account, you can open the Account Details dialog box. (See Viewing the Details of a HCTB Account.) For steps on using the HCTB Proxy, go to Using the HCTB Proxy. To see what the other options at the top right of the HCTB Accounts screen do, check out Navigating the HCTB Accounts Screen.
- Click
>> Accounts.
The HCTB Accounts screen will appear.
- Locate the row of the parent's account.
Note: You can do so quickly by clicking the Filters drop-down arrow at the top left, entering part of the student's name in the Student Name(s) field, and clicking Apply. (See Navigating the HCTB Accounts Screen if needed.) - Click the check box at the far left of the row (or multiple check boxes to delete several accounts).
Note: If you need to delete more than one account, you also can use the Filters panel to limit the results (see Navigating the HCTB Accounts Screen if needed) and then click the check box at the top left of the grid, which will select all the displayed rows on the current page. - Click
at the top right of the screen.
A confirmation dialog box will appear.
WARNING! Be absolutely certain that you need to delete the accounts before proceeding! There is no Undo function after they've been removed. - Click Delete.
