If you need to help a parent in your school district with their Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) account, you can do so on the HCTB Accounts screen. If the parent is having issues with HCTB notifications, you can check which ones they've recently received (if any) using the Notification History function, as follows:

Note: To change the parent's Notifications settings, such as their stop radius, whether they're alerted about bus arrivals or departures, or contact information, use the HCTB Proxy, as described in Using the HCTB Proxy. To view the basic details of a parent's HCTB account, you can open the Account Details dialog box. (See Viewing the Details of a HCTB Account.) To see what the other options at the top right of the HCTB Accounts screen do, go to Navigating the HCTB Accounts Screen.

  1. Click  >> Accounts.

The HCTB Accounts screen will appear.

  2. Locate the row of the parent's account.
Note: You can do so quickly by clicking the Filters drop-down arrow at the top left, entering part of the student's name in the Student Name(s) field, and clicking Apply. (See Navigating the HCTB Accounts Screen if needed.)
  3. Click the check box at the far left of the row.

  4. Click  at the top right of the screen.

The Notification History dialog box will appear, listing the alerts the account holder received in the past seven days, including the type of notification (such as Entry or Exit) and contact details.

  5. After you're finished reviewing the notifications, you can click Back to List to return to the HCTB Accounts screen.
