On the Video Events screen, you can see all the videos your camera devices have captured and sent to CalAmp K-12 for the past six months. To view your Vision videos, follow these steps:

Note: For more information about CalAmp Vision, go to What Is CalAmp Vision?.

  1. Click  >> Video Events.

The Video Events screen will appear and display all your video captures from the past week, with the most recent videos on top.

  2. If you would like to view videos from a different range of dates, follow these steps:
Note: Two years' worth of video data is available, but only ones from the last six months can be played.
    1. Click the From date picker at the top right of the screen and select the first date of videos you want to see.

    2. Click the To date picker and select the last date.

    3. Click .

The new dates of videos will appear.

  3. If your list of videos is small, or if you are interested in one of the most recent video events, you can scroll down to find the row of the video you want to view.

Otherwise, you can find a particular video by selecting just the date the event occurred in step 2.

Alternatively, you can filter one of the columns to find a particular bus or event type. For example, you can filter the Event Type column for the Traffic Speed Violation event if you are looking for videos when vehicles were speeding, or if you received a complaint about a vehicle for a specific date and time, you can apply those as a filter to the Event Time column. (See Sorting and Filtering Column Data if needed for details.)

  4. In the row of the video you want to see, click .

The video will open on its own tab (depending on your browser's settings) and automatically begin playing.

  5. You can find these controls when you place your cursor over the video:

    • : Pauses the playback.

    • : Resumes playback after pausing.

    • : Opens a menu with options to download the video, adjust the playback speed, and launch the video in a smaller window at the bottom right of your screen (picture-in-picture mode).

    • You can click and drag the slider forward or backward to move through the capture.
Note: The audio option is grayed out, as audio isn't available for the videos.
  6. When you reach the end of the video, you can click  to watch it again.
