If you are driving a Here Comes the Bus activity route (or working on one as a bus aide), you can specify the activity you are performing using the CalAmp K-12 mobile app as follows:
- Log in to the app with your punch ID and select the vehicle you are driving/working on (as shown in Logging In and Out and Using Route Service).
- When you reach the point that you are asked either if you are serving the route associated with the selected bus (if there is one) or if you are driving a route, tap No (in both dialog boxes, if both appear).
- On the Home screen, tap

The TimeCard screen will be displayed.
- Tap the job type for the activity (such as Bus Driver [Trip]) in this example).
A confirmation dialog box will appear.
- Tap Confirm.
Your clock-in will be confirmed.
- Tap
to the right of Select Activity.
The Select Activity screen will appear.
Any previous activities performed by you or run on your current bus will be listed by name.
- If the activity you are performing is listed, tap its name and skip down to step 11.
If your current activity doesn't appear in the list (or if you've never run a HCTB activity route before), tap Search Activity.
A search field will be displayed.
- In the field, type part of the name of the activity (or one of its tags — keywords related to the activity, such as “museum” for an art museum field trip).
- Tap
.
Activities that match your search criteria will be returned.
- Tap the name of the activity you are performing.
- Tap Select Activity at the bottom of the screen.
The Punch-in Confirmation screen will appear again but will now include the name of the activity you are running.
- Tap Done.
Note: You may be asked once again if you are driving a route. If so, tap No.
