If you are switching from one job to another (such as if you just finished driving a route and now will be working as a bus monitor), you'll need to transfer between the job types. You also will have to transfer if you are changing from one vehicle to another.


Transferring from One Job to Another on the Same Vehicle


To transfer from one job type to another, follow these steps:


Note: This is the procedure for switching job types. If you are switching vehicles instead, go down to the section "Transferring from One Vehicle to Another."


  1. Open the Home screen by tapping  at the top left of the screen and then Home at the top of the menu that appears.
    Note: If you are on certain screens (such as the Stop List page), you'll need to tap Back first at the top left.
    The Home screen will be displayed.
     
    Note: If more than one employee is clocked in on the device, tap the employee name at the top right and then select the name of the person who is transferring.
     

  2. Tap .
     
    The TimeCard screen will appear and show details about your current shift.
      
  3. Tap Change Job.
     
    The TimeCard screen will display the other job types available to your employee type (but not the job type you were previously performing).
      
  4. Tap the name of the job type you are switching to.
     
    A confirmation dialog box will appear.
      
  5. Tap Confirm.
     
    The Punch-In Confirmation screen will appear.
      
  6. Tap Done.
    Note: Your time card will show the second shift starting immediately after the first, with the second job type applied.

Transferring from One Vehicle to Another


Note: The following procedure will need to be performed for each employee clocked in on the device individually.


To transfer from one bus to another, follow these steps:


  1. Open the Home screen by tapping  at the top left of the screen and then Home at the top of the menu that appears.
    Note: If you are on certain screens (such as the Stop List page), you'll need to tap Back first at the top left.
    The Home screen will be displayed.
     
    Note: If more than one employee is clocked in on the device, tap the employee name at the top right and then select the name of the person who is transferring.
     

  2. Tap .
     
    The TimeCard screen will appear and show details about your current shift.
      
  3. Tap Clock Out.
     
    The "You are currently clocked out" message will be displayed.
      
  4. If you need to switch to a different mobile device on the new bus, log out of the app on your current device, go to the next vehicle, log in via its device, select that vehicle in the app, and make sure to clock in. (See Logging In and Out, Using Route Service, and Clocking In and Out, if needed.)
     
    If you will be using the same mobile device (such as a district-provided mobile phone for your personal use), you do not need to log out of the app. Instead, proceed to your new bus and then follow these steps:
     
    1. Tap  to the right of the bus name at the top left.
       
      The Set Vehicle screen will appear.
        
    2. Select the new bus and tiers you are driving as shown in Using Route Service.
       
    3. After you have started service for the new vehicle, make sure to clock in again (see Clocking In and Out).
      Note: Your time card will show the new bus service as a second shift starting immediately after the first.
