CalAmp Vision is a video-telematics solution that includes a camera device (with one lens facing the road and the other facing the driver) in your buses that will return video files to CalAmp K-12 you can view within the software. To see a vehicle's recorded video events, follow these steps:

- To see a video capture from today (from a vehicle that is currently operating), track the bus on the Fleet Tracking screen, as shown in Tracking a Vehicle.
To watch a video from a past time period, map the vehicle's history of activity for the specific date range, as shown in Mapping a Vehicle's History.
Note: If you want to view ONLY Vision Video events in the history results, select the Display Vision Video Only toggle in the Options panel before clicking Plot History.
The grid results will show
in the Vision Video column if the event for that date and time has a video capture available.
Caution: Your available video history depends on the dashcam's storage configuration and the vehicle's trip activity.
- Click in the row of the event whose video you want to view.
The CalAmp Vision window will appear and show the capture. The street view will be on the left and driver view on the right.
- Click
to play the video.
You can click
to pause the playback.
You can click and drag the slider forward or backward to move through the capture.
These are the options at the bottom right of the video window:
Note: The audio option is grayed out, as audio isn't available for the videos.
: Plays the video full screen.
: Opens a menu with options to download the video, adjust the playback speed, and launch the video in a smaller window at the bottom right of your screen (picture-in-picture mode).
- When you are finished viewing the capture, click Close.
VIEWING 24 HOURS' WORTH OF VIDEOS
On the Fleet Tracking screen, you can right-click an event row in the grid and select Display Recent Vision Videos. Captures from the past 24 hours will be displayed in a panel, with the most recent on top.
You can click one of the videos to open it in the larger window shown earlier and view its playback.
A similar list is available on the Vehicle History screen, but its right-click menu option is Display Vision Videos for This Day. The panel list it produces includes results of any 24-hour time period from the bus's history of activity.
