If you have received a message from a driver that was sent via their vehicle's MDT (mobile data terminal) and need to reply to them, such as to respond to a question, you can do so as follows:

- Open the message's Details screen and read the message, as described in Reading a Message Sent from an MDT.
- Click
at the top right of the screen.
The reply screen will appear.
- Type your message in the Message box.
- Click
at the top right of the screen.
You will be returned to the Mail Details screen, a success message will appear, and the History grid will show your sent message beneath the original message from the vehicle. If the vehicle ignition is on, the driver's MDT will inform them they have a message, which they can read when the vehicle is stopped.
