This article describes the various features of the Inventory screen, which you access by clicking  >> Inventory. The Inventory screen lists all the ESNs (electronic serial numbers) for all the GPS devices you have on your vehicles and spares.

Note: For information about the banner at the top and accordion menu on the left, see Navigating the Synovia Site.

These are the options along the top right of the screen:

  • : Begins the process of adding a new ESN/GPS device for your organization. (See Adding an ESN/GPS Device for details.)

  • : Refreshes the data on the screen (which can be especially useful if other users are making changes).

  • : Removes the selected ESN/GPS device from the system. (See Deleting an ESN/GPS Device for details.)

  • : Begins the process of adding multiple inventory items to your Synovia account. (We recommend guidance when bulk loading items. Please contact your Synovia project manager or fleet advisor for details.)

  • : Saves the data as a PDF you can print.

  • : Exports the grid data to an Excel spreadsheet.

Here is an explanation of the grid icon and column headers:

  • : Opens the Edit screen, on which you can modify the ESN's properties. (See Updating an ESN's Properties for details.)

  • ESN: The electronic serial number, a unique numeric identifier for a GPS device.

  • Phone Number: The cellular phone number for the device.

  • Current Vehicle: The vehicle the device is currently on.

  • Last Event Timestamp: The date and time the GPS device last reported an event to Synovia.

  • Last Modified By: The user who last made a change to the ESN's properties.

  • Last Modified Date: The date and time of that last change.

Along the bottom of the screen are icons that enable you to navigate through the pages of data. See Paging Options for an explanation of these.
