You can check the status of a video request and view it after it has been processed by CalAmp K-12 as follows:

  1. Click  >> Video Requests.

The Video Requests screen will appear and display all your video requests from the past month, with the most recent requests on top.

If a video isn't ready yet, Processing will appear in the Status column. If a request's status is Video Ready, it has been processed and is ready to be viewed.
Caution: If the video file isn't available at all (due to storage limitations on the dashcam, lack of route activity, or the capture being archived), its status will be displayed as Unavailable.
  2. If you would like to view a requested video from an earlier range of dates, follow these steps:

    1. Click the From date picker at the top right of the screen and select the first date of videos you want to see.

    2. Click the To date picker and select the last date.

    3. Click .

The new dates of video requests will appear.

  3. If your list of requests is small, or if you are interested in one of the most recent ones, you can scroll down to find the row of the video you want to view.

Otherwise, you can find a particular request by selecting just the date the event occurred in step 2.

Alternatively, you can filter one of the columns to find a particular bus or date. For example, if you made a request for August 1 at 9:30 a.m., you can filter the Start Time column for just that date and time. (See Sorting and Filtering Column Data if needed for details.)

  4. If the video you requested has a status of Video Ready, click  in its row.
Note: This icon will be grayed out for videos that are still being processed.
The video will open on its own tab (depending on your browser's settings) and automatically begin playing.

  5. You can find these controls when you place your cursor over the video:

    • : Pauses the playback.

    • : Resumes playback after pausing.

    • : Opens a menu with options to download the video, adjust the playback speed, and launch the video in a smaller window at the bottom right of your screen (picture-in-picture mode).

    • You can click and drag the slider forward or backward to move through the capture.
Note: The audio option is grayed out, as audio isn't available for the videos.
  6. When you reach the end of the video, you can click  to watch it again.
