Dispatch can send you messages via the mobile app (directed to the vehicle you are driving) you can read and reply to, as follows:


When you receive a message from dispatch, you'll receive a notification that looks like this:



Note: If your vehicle is in motion, your app may be in dark mode. You'll see that you have a message at the top right of the screen:
 


You'll need to stop and touch the screen to exit dark mode and view the message notification.


  1. If you are driving, wait until you can stop to read it.
     
  2. After stopping, tap View in the notification.
     
    The Messages screen will appear.
    Note: You can also open the Messages screen from the Home screen by tapping . This will have a number representing the count of unread messages on it if you have any messages from dispatch you haven't seen yet (such as ).
    There will be a blue dot () to the left of your unread message.
      
  3. Tap the message you want to read.
     
    The message will be displayed; its subject (if any) will be the title of the screen.
      
    These are the options at the top of the screen:
     
    • Delete: Removes the message from your Inbox.
       
    • Refresh: Reloads the conversation thread, showing any new messages that have been added to it.
       
    • Back: Returns you to the Messages screen.
       
  4. To reply to the message, you can tap Quick Reply (to use one of the app-provided prewritten responses) or Reply (to compose your own reply) at the bottom of the screen.
    Note: On the Quick Reply screen, you select the quick text and then press Send (twice). On the Compose screen, you type your own message and then select Send.
