You can use the mobile app to write a message and send it to dispatch. The first section below shows how to write your own text, and the second one covers using the prewritten quick replies.


Composing Your Own Message


To create your own message to send to dispatch, follow these steps:


  1. Go to the Home screen by tapping  at the top left of the screen and then Home at the top of the menu that appears.
    Note: If you are on certain screens, you'll need to tap Back first at the top left in order to see the .
    The Home screen will be displayed.
      
  2. Tap .
     
    The Messages screen will appear and show previous conversations you have had (the last message in each).
      
  3. Tap New Message.
     
    The Compose screen will appear.
      
  4. Type your message using the keyboard.
     
  5. Optionally, you can tap in the Subject field and enter a quick subject.
     
  6. Tap Send at the bottom right.
     
    You'll be returned to the Messages screen, which will display the message you just sent.


Sending a Prewritten Message


You can send one of the app-provided messages to dispatch as follows:


  1. Perform steps 1 to 3 in the preceding section.
      
  2. On the Compose screen, tap Quick Reply at the bottom left of the screen.
     
    The Quick Reply screen will appear.
     
    Note: You can tap and drag to scroll down to see more possible quick messages.
  3. Tap the message you want to send.
     
    A Send button will appear at the bottom of the screen.
      
  4. Tap Send.
     
    You'll be returned to the Compose screen, and your quick reply will be displayed.
      
  5. Tap Send at the bottom right.
     
    The Messages screen will appear and display the message you just sent.
