This is the data you'll find in the grid:

    • Vehicle: The identifier for the vehicle, usually the bus number.

    • Time: The date and time of the last event reported to CalAmp by the vehicle's GPS device.

    • Event: The last event reported to CalAmp by the vehicle's GPS device.

    • Speed: The vehicle's current speed in miles or kilometers per hour.

    • Heading: If the vehicle is in motion, the direction it is heading.

    • Location: The vehicle's current address (or zone).

    • RSSI: RSSI stands for received signal strength indicator, which measures how well the vehicle's device can obtain a signal. (RSSI's scale is from -26 to -100, and values higher than -60 are good.)

    • SATS: The GPS satellite count. (A number of 8 or higher indicates that the bus's LMU has reliable connectivity.)

  6. You can tap  at the bottom right of the map to turn on Satellite view. (Tap it again to turn off Satellite view.)

  7. You can tap and drag the map to view different areas.

  8. You can pinch on the map and move your fingers together to zoom out or pinch and move them apart to zoom in; however, the view will revert to the default zoom when the screen refreshes.

  9. You can rotate your view by placing two fingers on the map and turning them, but again, the view will return to north being up upon refresh.
