If you need to modify a Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) activity category, such as assign new activities to it or change its name, follow these steps:

To edit an activity category, follow these steps:
- Click
>> Activity Categories.
The HCTB Activity Categories screen will appear.
- Click
in the row of the activity category you need to update.
The Edit Activity Category screen will appear.
- If you need to change the activity category's name, select the text in the Name box and type the new one.
- If the category is a subcategory of a main category and you want to make it a primary category itself, select None in the Parent Category list.
If you need to assign it to a parent category (or change the parent it belongs to), select the check box to the left of the name of the new parent in the Parent Category list.
- To add new activities to the category, on the right side of the screen, in the Out of Category list, click the check boxes to the left of the activity names and then click
.
The activities you selected will appear in the In Category list.
- To remove activities from the category, select their check boxes in the In Category list and click
.
- Click
at the top right of the screen.
A success message will appear at the top right, and you'll be returned to the Activity Categories screen.
