If there is a holiday on your organization's calendar you need to modify (such as if it was added for the wrong day or didn't include all the employee types it applies to), you can do so as follows:

  1. Click  >> Holidays.

The Holidays screen will appear and display all the holidays on your calendar (for all employee types) in the current three-month period (counted from two months ago until one month in the future).

  2. If you need to limit the holidays displayed to those entered for only certain employee types in order to find the one you want to edit, you can do so as follows (by default, all employee types are selected):

    1. Click the Employee Types drop-down arrow.

A list of your employee types will appear.

    2. Deselect any types whose holidays you don't want to see. ( means selected, and  deselected.)

    3. Click Apply.

  3. If the holiday you need to change is in a different date range than the default current three-month span, you can update the time period by following these steps:

    1. Click the From calendar picker and select the beginning date of the time span.

    2. Click the To calendar picker and select the end of the time period.

    3. Click  to the right of the calendar pickers.

Holiday results for your new date range will be displayed in the Holiday History grid.

  4. Find the holiday you need to edit by scrolling through the grid or filtering the Holiday Name, Start, or End columns, as shown in Sorting and Filtering Column Data.

  5. Click  on the left in the holiday's row.

The Edit Holiday options will appear on the right.

  6. If you need to change the name of the holiday, select the text in the Name field and type the new name.

  7. If your payroll company has changed the code it is using for this type of holiday (if any), select the current text in the Code field and type the new code exactly as the payroll system now has it, if your organization is using the code to process payment and is exporting TAA data for payroll.

  8. To change the date range for the holiday, click the Start calendar picker and select the beginning of the new time span.

Then click the End calendar picker and select the end of the time period.

  9. Select the toggles for all the employee types who should be given this holiday and deselect any that shouldn't have it applied to them. ( means selected, and  deselected.)

  10. If certain employee types will be paid for this holiday, select the Paid toggle in their row to the right — and deselect Paid for those who won't be compensated for it.

  11. At the top right of the Edit Holiday section, click  to save your changes.
Note: Clicking  will cancel any modifications you've made to the holiday (restoring it to its settings before you began the editing process).
A success message will appear at the top right of the screen.
