Using the Zones drop-down panel in Fleet Tracking, you can track which vehicles are inside or outside specific zones. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click  >> Fleet Tracking.

The Fleet Tracking screen will appear and display a map of your area.

  2. At the top of the map, click the Zones drop-down arrow.

All the zone categories you've created will appear, with the category name in the Name column and number of locations in each in the Zones column.

  3. Click the expansion arrow of the zone category containing the location you want to check for vehicles in or out of it.
Note: To see which vehicles are inside or outside an entire zone category (such as all your yards), click the category's name instead of the expansion arrow.
  4. Click the location name(s).
Note: If you have many locations, you can skip steps 3 and 4 and type part of the location's name in the Search box (and wait a second) to find it.
  5. To track vehicles outside the selected zone(s), click Map Vehicles Outside Zones.

To track vehicles inside the selected zone(s), click Map Vehicles Inside Zones.

The vehicles will appear on the map, and their tracking information will appear in the grid beneath the map.

Note: To make the Zones panel disappear, click anywhere outside of the pane (or click Zones again).
Here's one example of mapping outside of certain zones:

It's easier to see the drawn geofences if you map inside just a few zones (or a single one), as shown in this example:

Fleet Tracking will automatically begin watching the vehicles in real time (called Watch Live). To turn off the Watch Live feature, click in the map toolbar at the top right. (See Watching Vehicles Live for more information.)
Note: When you are watching the vehicles live, if you chose the Map Vehicles Outside Zones option (for example) and a vehicle moves inside a zone, it will stop being displayed.
See Tracking a Vehicle for descriptions of the grid column headings.

See Sorting and Filtering Column Data to reorganize the vehicle results grid.

Note: If you want to make the map bigger, you can click  to make it full-screen.

If you'd like to make the results grid bigger, you can click and drag the green divider line above it up.

See Navigating the Fleet Tracking Screen for an explanation of the icons at the top right and other map features.
