If your organization is using Synovia's Event Points system and you want to see your drivers' ratings, you run one of the Driver Performance reports, if you have the Time and Attendance (TAA) module. If you don't have TAA, you can use a Vehicle Performance report, but be aware that that will return the ratings by vehicle, including all the event points counted against it by all of its drivers (if more than one employee drives the vehicle).

Note: For information about the Event Points system and the features of the Event Points screen, see Navigating the Event Points Screen.

The article below is in two sections: The first demonstrates how to check the points if you have TAA, and the second shows how to do so if you do not.

If You Have TAA

To check your drivers' event point ratings, follow these steps:

  1. Click  >> Reports.

    The Reports screen will appear.

  2. In the Synovia Reports list on the left, scroll down to Core and click Driver Performance under it.

The Driver Performance reports will appear on the right; the first four of these return event points data:

    • Driver Performance Summary by Department: Shows the average driver score in each department.

    • Driver Performance Summary by Driver:  Displays the average score each driver received over the course of the specified date range.

    • Driver Performance Daily Summary by Driver: Lists the score for each driver each day of the entered date range.

    • Driver Performance Daily Details by Driver: Shows all the event infractions counted against each driver, the date and time they occurred, and how many points were counted against the driver as a result.

  3. Click the specific Driver Performance report you want to run, such as Driver Performance Daily Summary by Driver.

    The report options will appear.

  4. Specify the parameters for the report — for example, for the Driver Performance Daily Summary by Driver report:

    1. In the Select Driver list, expand the department names and select the employees.
Note: If you don't select any employees, the report will run for all your drivers.
    2. Select the employee and job types (or don't select any to run the report for all employee and job types).

    3. Click the Quick Range drop-down arrow and select a common date range, such as Last Week.
Note: Alternatively, you could enter specific From and To dates. You could also use the Timespan tab to search for infractions in just one segment of the day over a range of days — for example, from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m for last week.
    4. In the List area, choose the events you want to see in the results or leave these unspecified to view all the offenses.

  5. Click  at the top right of the screen.

The report results will appear, and you can check the drivers' ratings as needed.

  6. You can export the ratings to PDF or Excel by clicking or  at the top right, respectively.

  7. If you are done with the report, click  at the top right.

If You Don't Have TAA

    1. In the Group/Vehicle Hierarchy tree, expand the group names and select the vehicles.
Note: If you don't select any vehicles, the report will run for your entire fleet.
    2. In the List area, choose the events you want to see in the results (or leave these unspecified to view all the offenses).

    3. Click the Quick Range drop-down arrow and select a common date range, such as Last Week.
Note: Alternatively, you could enter specific From and To dates using the calendar pickers.
  5. Click  at the top right of the screen.

The report results will appear, and you can check the vehicles' ratings as needed.

  6. You can export the ratings to PDF or Excel by clicking or  at the top right, respectively.

  7. If you are done with the report, click  at the top right.
