Included with Synovia's engine diagnostics hardware are two different sets of reports, Fault Code and Fuel Economy. The Fault Code reports provide details about the fault codes, including the count each vehicle has had, descriptions, and when malfunction indicator lamps are lit, as follows:

- Active MIL Status: Lists all vehicles that have the malfunction indicator lamp lit on the vehicle dashboard.
- Fault Code Daily Summary: Displays the number of fault codes each vehicle has generated per day.
- Fault Code Details: Provides the fault code numbers, the date and time the codes were reported, a description of the fault codes, and translations for the lamp statuses, listed by vehicle and primary group. (See What Does This Lamp Status Mean? for details about the lamp statuses.)
- Fault Code Summary by Group: Displays the total number of fault codes generated by all the vehicles in the group during the specified time range.
- Fault Code Summary by Primary Group: Displays the total number of fault codes generated by all the vehicles in their primary group during the specified time range.
Note: The Fault Code Summary by Group and Fault Code Summary by Primary Group reports may give you the same data, if you have your vehicles assigned to only one group (their primary group). If you have assigned a vehicle to multiple groups, such as to School Name X as the primary one and also to a Special Education group, any fault codes generated by that vehicle will be listed in both groups' data for Fault Code Summary by Group, so the report's Total number will count the vehicle's codes twice; however, that same vehicle will report only once for the Fault Code Summary by Primary Group report (just for its primary group, in this example, School Name X). - Fault Code Summary by Vehicle: Displays the total number of fault codes each vehicle generated in the specified time range, listed by primary group and vehicle number.
