A route set contains all the route data from the CA import within the date range specified. You'll need to create a new route set for upcoming date ranges, such as the next school year or summer session. Also, you must create a new route set whenever your organization makes significant changes to your current routes, such as adding or deleting routes; first edit your current route set to make its end date sooner (such as the end of the week) and then create the new route set with a start date of the following day. Note: It's imperative you have route sets in place with the current date range; otherwise, CA will not work at all. If you are having an issue with CA of your routes not appearing, it may be because you haven't created a new route set for the current date range.


To create a new route set, follow these steps:


  1. Click  >> Route Sets.
     
    The Route Sets screen will appear.
      
     
  2. Click  at the top right of the screen.
     
    The Add New Route Set screen will appear.
        
  3. Type the name of the new route set in the Name field.
      
  4. Click the Start Date calendar date picker and select the day the date range begins.
    Note: If you are setting a date for a few years in the future, in the calendar date picker, click the down arrow to the right of the current month and year at the top left. The calendar will switch to a year view, and you can use the right arrow at the top right to advance quickly through the years.
      
  5. Click the End Date calendar date picker and select the day the date range ends.
       
  6. Click  at the top right of the screen.
