The Performance Categories screen has sliding scales of time expectations for various segments of a vehicle's or group's scheduled trip.

This article describes the various features of the Performance Categories screen, which you access by clicking  >> Performance Categories.

Note: For information about the banner at the top and accordion menu on the left, see Navigating the Synovia Site.

These are the options at the top right of the screen:

  • : Refreshes the data on the screen (which can be especially useful if other users are making changes).

  • : Saves the grid data as a PDF you can print.

  • : Exports the grid data to an Excel spreadsheet.

Here is an explanation of the grid icon and column headers:

  • : Opens the Edit screen, on which you can view and change the sliding scale's settings. (See Adjusting a Performance Category's Scale for details.)

  • Type: The segment of a vehicle's trip this scale applies to, such as Tier.

  • Entry Min: Entry for schools refers to when the students arrived at school. Entry Min is the designated number of minutes prior to the segment's planned start time (such as the school bell arrival time for the beginning of a school day) that will be counted as still in that segment's time window.

  • Entry Max: The designated number of minutes after the segment's planned start time (such as the school bell arrival time for the beginning of a school day) that will be counted as still in that segment's time window.

  • Exit Min: Exit for schools refers to when the students left school. Exit Min is the designated number of minutes prior to the segment's scheduled time (such as the school bell dismissal time) that will be counted as still in that segment's time window.

  • Exit Max: The designated number of minutes after the segment's scheduled time (such as the school bell dismissal time) that will be counted as still in that segment's time window.

  • Last Modified By: The user who last made a change to the sliding scale.

  • Last Modified Date: The date and time of that last change.

Along the bottom of the screen are icons that enable you to navigate through the pages of data, if needed. See Paging Options for an explanation of these.
