On the Events screen, you can view all the available Synovia events and set them as able to trigger an alert, able to be tracked, and active.


To begin any of these modifications, click  >> Events.


The Events screen will appear. (See Navigating the Events Screen for details about the features on this screen.)



Changing an Event's Alertable Status


If you want to change an event so that you can be alerted about its occurrence, place a check mark in its Alertable box. Or if you no longer want to use an event for alerts, remove its check mark.


Changing an Event's Trackable Status


If you need to be able to track an event on the map screens or include its occurrences in Synovia reports, place a check mark in its Trackable box. Or if you no longer want to track an event, remove its check mark.


Changing an Event's Active Status


If your organization needs to use a Synovia event that is currently inactive, you can make it active by placing a check mark in its Active box. Or if you have no need to use a particular event, removing its check mark will make it inactive.


Caution: Be careful before you make an event inactive! It may be used for a purpose you are unaware of. Make certain that it isn't something you have any need for first!
