If one of your special speeding rules for particular locations needs updating, such as the speed limit or included zones, follow these steps:

Note: See Creating a Zone Speed Rule for details on adding a new rule to set off the Zone Speeding event.

1. Click  >> Zone Speed Rules.
    
2. On the Zone Speed Rules screen, click  in the row of the rule whose properties you need to modify.
    
   The Edit Zone Speed Rule screen will appear.
       
3. If you need to change the name of the rule, select the text in the Name box and type the new name.
    
4. You can change the days of the week the rule is active by deselecting the days not to include and selecting the new ones. ( means selected, and  deselected.)
    
5. To change the start and end times for the zone speed rule, click the Start Time and End Time time pickers and select the new times. Or you can click within the fields and type the times.
    
6. To update the speed your drivers aren't supposed to exceed in the locations, select the number in the Speed box and type a new mph (or kph, if kilometers is your base unit) value.
    
7. To change the zones assigned to the rule, click the Zones tab.
       
8. Click the check boxes of the names of the zones you want to add to the rule in the Out of Zone Speed Rule box (on the right).
    
9. Click .
    
   The zones will appear in the box on the left.
    
10. Click the check boxes of the names of the zones you want to remove from the rule in the In Zone Speed Rule box (on the left).
     
11. Click .
     
12. Click  at the top right of the screen.
