To delete a Synovia role, follow these steps:


Note: You cannot delete a role if users are assigned to it; you must first remove the users from the role and then delete it. For steps to see which users are assigned to the role, go to Checking Which Users Are Assigned to a Role. For information about reassigning a user's role, go to Updating a User's Profile.


  1. Click  >> Roles.
     
    The Roles screen will appear.
        
  2. Click the check box on the far left of the role's name.
    Note: You can delete multiple roles by selecting all of their check boxes.
     
    The check box for any role that has users assigned to it will be grayed out (meaning you can't select it) because you can't delete a role with users, as mentioned above.

  3. Click  at the top right of the screen.
     
    A warning dialog box will appear.
       
  4. Click Yes.
