Here Comes the Bus

  • Improved the implementation of calendar exception notifications as follows:
    • Added the notifications to all HCTB accounts so that parents won’t have to enable them. Now, they will automatically be informed of how school bus runs will be affected by calendar exceptions.
    • Set the alerts to be sent on the affected day. (If the exception applies to the current day, the notification will be sent as soon as it is entered in CalAmp K-12.)
    • Made the notifications available to HCTB accounts for customers using legacy PvA.
    • Updated the notification text to be more specific to the type of calendar exception (but still include the reason entered by the school district).
    • On the HCTB website, added calendar exception notifications to the History tab of the Notifications screen.
    • Fixed a bug that wasn’t adjusting HCTB app/website stop times to reflect calendar exceptions entered in CalAmp K-12.
Note: The HCTB app will reflect these changes in version 3.6.3.
  • Fixed an issue that wasn’t showing bus substitutions on the Map screen for HCTB account holders.

Student Ridership

  • For consortium customers, fixed an issue with the Scan History Daily Details by Vehicle report that was returning a scan count for a different account than the chosen one.
