  • Fixed a bug with the Event Alert Daily Details by Vehicle report that was preventing the location where the triggering event occurred from appearing in the Address column.


Comparative Analysis


  • Added a Promote Failed Details section to the Import Results >> Import Details screen’s Summary tab that will appear only if the import has a Promote Snapshot Failed error; it will display how many records were received from the import, how many records CalAmp K-12 previously had, and the difference in percentage.


Here Comes the Bus


  • Updated the Contact Support KB article’s form to include an App Type drop-down list with options Global (indicating a general problem, unrelated to whether the parent is using the app or the website, such as notifications not being sent), Website, iOS App, and Android App, plus an App Version field for the latter two options. (Parents can find their app version on the Help page.)
  • For customers using the Cancel-a-Ride feature, on the CalAmp K-12 Ride Requests screen, added the ability to cancel a ride request made for the current day.
  • Added validation to the app (version 3.6.3) that will prevent students from being able to log in for school districts that don’t have Student Ridership; instead, the message “Student Ridership is off for your school district” will be displayed.
  • Fixed a bug that would send parents notifications when MDTs automatically powered off.


Student Ridership


  • On the Rider History screen, changed the scan markers to red to match the PvA by Stop screen (which uses red markers for the actual stops). In addition, added an Order column to the grid to show the scan sequence in the results.


Time and Attendance


  • Updated the Help icon () at the top right of the TAA Portal screen to direct users to the articles in the Knowledge Base folder TAA Portal. (Previously, this led to the old help files at Time and Attendance Portal.)
    Caution! The old help file website https://help.synovia.com (which housed help pages for the deprecated Silverlining software) is being shut down on 10/16/2024.

Engine Diagnostics


  • In CalAmp K-12, added a VIN column to the J1708/1939 - Heavy Duty screen, which will display the vehicle identification numbers.
