CalAmp K-12 (https://login.synovia.com)

  • On the Add/Edit Role screen, added toggles to all the Privileges tabs that will enable users to select all the Can Edit and Can View rights (as separate choices).
  • On the Add/Edit User screen, in the Groups area, added a Select All toggle that will add the new user to all the school district’s groups.
  • For customers who have scheduled reports uploaded to FTP/SFTP, made it possible to have the filenames with just the name of the report (excluding the prefixes).
Note: Contact your customer success manager (CSM) to enable this for you. (CSMs: You do so by enabling the Exclude Unique GUID in Scheduled Report Names setting.)
  • On the Add/Edit Alert screen, added the following note to the Zones tab of the Alert Settings area: “If no zones are specified, the alert will apply to anywhere on the map.”
  • Made the Vehicle IDs report (in the Vehicle Summary category) available for all customers.

Inspections

  • Fixed an issue that was displaying the current date and time for Date, Time, and DateTime data type items that hadn’t been filled in by the driver during the inspection; they will now correctly show a null (blank) value.

Comparative Analysis

  • On the Add/Edit Calendar Exception screen, removed the Offset field if the Action value is set to Normal or Cancel, so only Delay will have that available. In addition, added validation that will prevent a Delay Offset value of 0 to be saved.
  • Added validation that will prevent more than one calendar exception from being created for the same day.

Here Comes the Bus App (Version 3.6.3)

  • Set calendar exceptions to send out a notification to parents, informing them of how the school bus routes are affected. These will include exceptions that were added on the current day. In addition, the bus stop planned time will be adjusted to match the entered exception.
  • Removed the Bus Pass screen from the app for school districts that don’t have Student Ridership.
  • Fixed a bug that would show a blank pop-up when a notification came in.

Engine Diagnostics

  • In CalAmp K-12, on the OBDII - Light Duty and J1708/1939 - Heavy Duty screens, changed the name of the Last Event Report column to Last GPS Event Report and limited its values to only when the last GPS event was reported (not any other types of events).
