Note: Going forward, you will receive a broadcast message when you first log in to the CalAmp K-12 website after each release that will inform you of its key features and provide a link to the release notes in the K-12 Knowledge Base (such as this article).

At first, you will receive both the email notification and that in-software message. In the future, CalAmp will sunset the email, and your only release notes notice will be the broadcast message.

CalAmp K-12 (https://login.synovia.com)

  • On the Hardware screen, fixed a bug that was displaying the wrong peripheral for a vehicle in the Peripheral Type column.
  • On the Hardware Dashboard, fixed a bug that was preventing the Cellular Issues and Cellular Issues Detail widgets from loading data (due to missing default parameter values).

Here Comes the Bus

  • On the HCTB website, fixed an issue that wasn’t displaying notifications on the History tab of the Notifications screen when a single student was selected but did show them when all the students in the parent’s account were selected.

Dispatch Monitor

  • Changed the name of the Scheduled Employee column to “Scheduled Driver.”
  • Changed the right-click menu option name Check Driver In to “Check Employee In.”
  • Fixed a bug that would show routes with no scheduled start time in the displayed time frame as having a start time of midnight in the filter for the Scheduled Start Time column; the filter will now show a correct value of “(nothing)” for these.

Time and Attendance

  • Fixed a bug that caused the TAA Portal to crash upon employee login (due to the password-reset settings changes made in release 2024.25).

Engine Diagnostics

  • In CalAmp K-12 on the J1708/1939 - Heavy Duty screen, fixed a bug that occurred in the Firefox browser with the frozen Vehicle column that would misalign the vehicle name with the grid data, so the wrong bus’s data would be in the row. (For example, when users clicked  in the Active Fault Codes column, the fault codes for a different vehicle would be displayed.)
