CalAmp K-12 (https://login.synovia.com)

  • Added validation to the process of bulk loading student data that will prevent adding students with the same legacy ID.

In addition, fixed an issue with the email sent when the bulk update is finished that was listing the wrong value in the DistrictId field.

CalAmp K-12 Mobile App (Version 4.4.2)

  • Restored access to the app for linked user accounts (meaning that the users are both a TAA employee with a punch ID login AND someone who can use the https://login.synovia.com site with an email login).
Note: This feature currently doesn’t work for consortium customers.
  • Added a link to the folder of mobile app Knowledge Base articles (CalAmp K-12 Mobile App) to the Help and About menu option.
  • Fixed a bug that would remove the list of available inspections from the Inspections screen if the user turned off Wi-Fi.
  • Fixed a bug that would freeze the app if a driver submitted an absence request but there were no approvers assigned in TAA. (Instead, a warning will be displayed.)

Inspections

  • Added validation that will not allow users to see work orders on the Work Orders screen that were created in a group they don’t have rights to view.

Comparative Analysis

  • For customers who are using the Overwrite Bell Time feature for their school locations, changed the Arrival Summary by Itinerary report (in the School Arrival [Bell Time] category) to use the manually entered bell times and the new processing for displaying more accurate Missed statuses.

Comparative Analysis/Time and Attendance

Note: The Dispatch Monitor is an add-on service with an additional monthly fee. It requires both the Comparative Analysis and Time and Attendance modules, plus new PvA.

  • Improved the Dispatch Monitor’s map, enabling users to make it larger or smaller by clicking and dragging the green line below it and adding the ability to press Ctrl + click grid rows so that users can view multiple select buses on the map.
  • Made several improvements to the Dispatch Monitor’s Quick Edit window:
    • Prepopulated the Job Type field with the default job type.
    • Added a warning that will appear if the employee is already clocked in that will ask the user if they want to end the previous shift and start a new one.
    • Added a warning that will appear if the user selects a different bus in the Vehicle drop-down list that will inform the user that a substitution will be created (for new PvA customers only).
  • Added a sliding animation for hiding the Dispatch Monitor’s missing schedules/missing vehicles feature (that will match the displaying animation).

Time and Attendance

  • Fixed a bug with the Assign Schedules screen that would break the ability to change the number of items displayed in the Schedules grid after assigning a schedule to a user.
