CalAmp K-12 Mobile App (Version 4.4.1)
- Enabled the ability for up to 10 employees to log in via the app — for example, if there is only one mobile device on a bus, now both a driver and bus monitor can log in with their punch IDs using it.
In addition, for customers implementing this, added a setting to limit the time the login is valid to a configurable number of minutes (with 720 being the default value). - Changed the map screens to default to vehicle clustering turned on if the fleet size is over 1,000. (Clustering will be disabled when the user zooms in on vehicles.)
- For consortium customers, fixed an issue that would show vehicle groups for a different account customer than the one the user chose on the Select Customer screen (due to the customers having groups with the same names).
Comparative Analysis
- On the Import Results RIC Operations screen, returned the Partial Snapshot Import option (which was removed in a previous release) to the Initiate RIC Request drop-down list.
Inspections
- For customers with the Mark Critical Inspection Failures setting enabled, changed the values in the Severity column of the Vehicle Inspection report to show whether a failure’s severity was critical, so failed items will now have values of either “FAIL (Critical)” or “FAIL (Non-Critical).”
Mobile Data Terminals (Version 2024.01/2024.01.n)
- For customers with the Mark Critical Inspection Failures setting turned on, changed Pass/Fail items on the MDT to give drivers three selections: Pass, Fail - Non Critical, and Fail - Critical.
