CalAmp K-12 (https://login.synovia.com)

  • On the Preferences >> Settings screen, fixed a bug that wouldn’t allow changes to nontext settings (such as numerical values) be saved.

Comparative Analysis

  • Added the ability to overwrite imported bell time data with manually entered ones via a new Overwrite Bell Time drop-down list on the Edit School screen.
  • For customers who select Yes for the preceding new feature, changed the following School Arrival (Bell Time) reports to use manually entered bell times and the new processing for displaying more accurate Missed statuses: Arrival Summary by Tier Legacy, Arrival Detail by Vehicle Legacy, and Arrival Daily Summary by Vehicle.

Here Comes the Bus

  • In CalAmp K-12, for customers with the HCTB Activities license, fixed an issue with the Activity Monitor that wasn’t persisting a vehicle selection from later pages after the screen refreshed and returned the user to the first page of results.
  • In CalAmp K-12, for customers with the HCTB Activities license, fixed an issue with the Add New Activity screen that wasn’t displaying the  icon, which enables users to add a schedule for the activity.

Student Ridership/Here Comes the Bus

  • For consortium customers, fixed an issue that was displaying student scans on the HCTB website from another district (due to students having the same ID under different accounts).

Inspections

  • For customers with the Work Orders license enabled, added functionality that will copy any text the driver includes in the Notes dialog box to the new work order, the Inspection Results screen, and the Work Orders and Inspection reports. (See the “Mobile Data Terminals” section below.)

The note text will also appear on the Defect History screen for failed items.

  • Fixed the status at the top of the Inspection Results Details screen to show Fail (Nondriveable) (or Fail [Critical] if the Mark Critical Inspection Failures setting is enabled) if any item or subitem is set to nondriveable/critical.

Mobile Data Terminals (Version 2024.01/2024.01.n)

  • Added an icon () to the rows of Pass/Fail items that will enable drivers to add a note about them (such as if they want to explain why an item failed).

will be displayed in the row of items that have an accompanying note.

  • In CalAmp K-12, disabled the old Mail screen for all MDT customers and removed its icon from the banner. See the folder Two-Way Messaging Using the New Mail Screen for articles on how to use the new Mail screen, which presents messages to and from the MDTs in a conversation-based view so that users can see both sides of a thread.

In addition, removed the reminders and tooltips that directed the user to the new Mail screen.
