CalAmp K-12 (https://login.synovia.com)

  • Removed columns from the Hardware screen that relied on the deprecated PULS service and added the following text to the top of the page: “PULS has been decommissioned, so we have removed the columns that relied on that service from the Hardware screen. They will be returned when the background system has been migrated to the upgraded service.”
  • For customers using CalAmp Vision, fixed an issue that was preventing users from seeing video events on the Vehicle History screen if they had access to All Vehicles but not directly to the vehicle’s primary group.

CalAmp K-12 Mobile App (Version 4.4)

  • Removed access to the app for linked user accounts (users who had both email and punch ID logins).
  • For customers using Vehicle mode, improved its use, as follows:
    • When users/drivers with Vehicle mode enabled are logging in, they will be presented with a pop-up asking if they want to continue using the same vehicle or select a new one.

When users/drivers who haven’t had Vehicle mode enabled are logging in, they will be presented with a pop-up asking if they want to turn on Vehicle mode and select a vehicle.
Note: These pop-ups will appear only for users logging in to the app with a punch ID.
    • When users/drivers are logged in and using Vehicle mode, they will have a Change Vehicle option in both the menu and at the top of the Home screen.
  • Fixed a bug that was making the app nonfunctional for consortium users.

Inspections/CalAmp K-12 Mobile App (Version 4.4)

  • For customers whose drivers use the app to perform inspections, fixed a bug that would hide forms from the display if the driver left a large number in the “I’ll send it later” section.
  • For customers whose drivers use the app to perform inspections, reduced the resolution of attached pictures to decrease storage use.

Here Comes the Bus

  • In CalAmp K-12, for customers with the HCTB Activities license, added the ability to start and stop an activity on the Activity Monitor by right-clicking its row and selecting Start/Stop from the menu.

  • In CalAmp K-12, for customers with the HCTB Activities license, fixed a bug that was displaying inactive categories in the Category column of the Activity Monitor.

Time and Attendance

  • For customers using absence requests and approvals, fixed an issue that wasn’t sending notifications to the manager/approver when an employee made a request via the TAA Portal.

In addition, fixed the link in the email the approver receives that will direct them to where the approval can be made.
  • Added three new columns to the Driver Performance Daily Details by Driver report, Posted Speed (Mph/Kph), Speed, and Speed Deviation, which will show the posted speed limit, the actual speed at which the driver was traveling, and the difference between the two (how much higher than the speed limit the driver was going), respectively. These columns will have values only for Speeding events. (All other events will show “n/a” for these.)
