  • For consortium customers, fixed an issue that was causing long page load times.

Student Ridership

  • Added the capability to view student photos on the System Administration >> Students >> student Information screen’s Properties tab.

This requires the customer to upload the photos via FTP.

Note that CalAmp must first enable the new Rider Photos license for the customer’s account.

Mobile Data Terminals/Student Ridership

  • Added the ability for drivers to view a student’s picture on the MDT when they scan in on the bus (or by opening the student’s properties).

Note that this requires CalAmp to enable the new Rider Photos license (and for the customer to upload the students’ photos via FTP).

CalAmp App (Version 4.2)

  • Added the ability for drivers to see a student’s picture in the app when they scan in on the bus.
  • Rebranded the app to use the CalAmp corporate color scheme and icons.
  • Implemented a status banner that will inform users of incidents such as outages.
  • Fixed an issue that wouldn’t load the routes available for a driver and would display “Vehicle does not exist” when a bus was selected if the driver was a linked user (meaning that they were both a TAA employee AND someone who could use the https://login.synovia.com site).
  • Fixed scenarios that caused the app to crash when drivers selected students.

Here Comes the Bus

  • Implemented a status banner at the top of the HCTB app that will inform the account holder of incidents such as outages.
  • On the https://login.synovia.com site, restored the setting that was missing for some customers that would specify how long a HCTB website user would be allowed to be logged in, HTML5 Token Expiration, Min. (After that time, they will be logged out and required to log back in to use the site again.)

JSON API

  • Added a new method, VehicleEventHistory, which will return data for these event types: Harsh Acceleration, Harsh Braking, Harsh Turning, Idling, Speeding, and Max Speed.
  • Added a new field, eventHistoryId, to the VehicleHistory method, which will be used to map the results from the new VehicleEventHistory method.
