Synovia Site (https://login.synovia.com)

  • Added the ability for customers to set up automatic certificate renewal for SSO SAML integration. Contact your customer success manager for details.
  • Changed the error text that appears during a site outage to redirect the user to https://calampcorp.force.com/SynoviaSupport/s (instead of the previous support@synoviasolutions.com).
  • Added a new column, Fuel Type, to the Mileage Summary by Vehicle report that will display values such as Diesel, Gas, and Propane.
  • Fixed an issue with the Fleet Tracking screen that would display data from routes performed earlier in the week for vehicles after the page reloaded, not the current route.

Comparative Analysis (New PvA Engine)

  • Added info icons () to the grids of the Fleet Tracking and Vehicle History screens to the right of vehicle names whose tiers include a substitution. Clicking the icon will show the details of the substitution.
  • Fixed a bug with the Arrival Summary by Tier report that wasn’t including all the vehicles that had arrivals in the chosen time frame.
  • WARNING: If you have switched to the new PvA engine, you should NOT be making substitutions using the legacy screen! This can lead to incorrect PvA processing. Make sure that your users are using the new Substitutions page!
Fixed an issue that wasn’t copying substitutions made on the legacy page to the new Substitutions screen if the target vehicle had a planned route but not at the corresponding time of day. (For example, if the target vehicle had an AM route but not a PM one, any PM substitutions were not saved.)
  • Fixed an issue that wasn’t displaying substitutions made on the legacy page on the new Substitutions screen if several tiers were substituted out at once.

Time and Attendance (in the Synovia Interface)

  • Added validation that won’t allow new employee records to be imported if they have an empty value for the first or last name field.
  • Added handling for cases in which an employee record is imported with a property (such as Middle Name) that doesn’t exist for the customer in the database; now, that new field type will be added. (This was how the situation was handled in legacy TAA.)
  • On the Time Cards screen, fixed a bug that would occur when a user right-clicked a multiday absence and selected Delete Absence: The Item(s) Deleted message would appear, but the absence wouldn’t actually be removed.
  • On the Shift Exceptions screen, fixed a bug with Invalid Job Type exceptions that would display “No valid job types assigned to this employee type” when a user tried to correct the job type, despite the fact that the employee type did have valid job types.
  • On the Shift Exceptions screen with Schedule Exceptions selected, fixed a bug that wouldn’t display shifts in the Quick Edit Time Card window for employees that had shifts at that time.
  • Fixed an issue that wasn’t sending notifications to employees when their approved time cards were modified or an absence request was approved due to logic not being ported over from legacy TAA.
  • On the TAA System Settings screen, fixed an issue that would warn a user that the changes they made on the Rounding tab would be lost when they were navigating to a different tab, but then when the user returned to the Rounding tab, they would find that the modifications they had meant to discard had been retained.
