- On the Vehicles screen, fixed an issue with the Bulk Load Update feature that wasn’t providing a meaningful error message if the upload failed due to the user deleting the Vehicle ID column in the template; now the error will read, “Vehicle ID column is missing.”
NOTE: The Bulk Load Update feature is only for updating the properties of existing vehicles – NOT for adding new vehicles. - On the Vehicles screen, fixed a bug with the Bulk Load Update feature that was replacing the values in the Last Modified By and Last Modified Date columns for all the vehicles instead of just the few that were updated.
- Fixed a bug with the Pivot Event report that was preventing it from returning any event data.
- Fixed an issue with the Edit Location screen for schools that had no AM or PM bell time recorded in the database that would display wrong values for the PM Bell Time and AM Bell Time fields (such as the current time or midnight). Now those fields will be empty.
Inspections
- Fixed a bug with the Vehicle Inspection Summary report’s Vehicle column links, which wouldn’t drill down to the detailed reports.
Here Comes the Bus
- In Synovia, added a new report, Students Without HCTB Association, which will return a list of students who aren’t assigned to a HCTB account; the results will include their name, student ID number, school, and grade level.
- In Synovia, added new parameters to the HCTB Accounts Validation Info report: date range fields (From and To), which enable the user to specify a time period, and a Validation Status drop-down list, which offers options to show only validated accounts, only unvalidated accounts, or both. In addition, the Quick Range choices have been expanded to include multiple common date ranges. (Previously, Today was the only selection.).
- Fixed a bug with the Activity Mileage Details report that was displaying the wrong times in the Activity Start and Activity End columns.
Time and Attendance (in the Synovia Interface)
- Improved the performance of exports, which will now be much quicker.
- For customers who don’t want to receive an email message when reports have finished loading (such as the Time Card report), added a setting to the Preferences >> Settings screen, Enable Report Complete Email Notification, which they can set to N.
- For manually added/edited shifts, on the Edit Time Card screen, changed the time value in the Manual Edit column of the Shifts History area to be in a 12-hour format instead of 24-hour.
- For customers using a Generic export with the Include Absences option on, fixed multiple issues, including these: a failure message being produced if the user had Generate Separate Absence/Holiday File selected; settings changes not being saved; and disabling Include Absences after choosing it NOT turning suboptions off (or removing the Export Mapping absence setup).
- Fixed an issue with the Hours Summary by Job Type report that wasn’t showing the time each employee performed different jobs, as the legacy version of the report did, just their total hours for all jobs. Now the results will include a column for each selected job type, displaying the hours worked individually for it.
- Fixed a bug with the Edit Time Card screen that would break the employee selector when a shift in the Shifts History area was expanded.
- Fixed an issue with Generic exports not including holidays.

- Added the method employee/PropertyTypes, which will return a list of all available employee properties and the categories they belong to.
