Synovia Site (https://login.synovia.com)

  • Fixed an issue that was producing an error when users ran Vehicle History for a single vehicle for just one day (although multiple vehicles for one day worked, plus one vehicle for several days).
  • For consortium customers, fixed a bug that wasn’t showing the time in Fleet Tracking (and on other screens) as specified by the Timezone Offset settings.

Comparative Analysis – Synovia Site

  • Fixed an issue with the CA dashboard that wasn’t displaying charts correctly (with data on X and Y axes).

Student Ridership

  • Fixed an issue that was producing the “Failed to Load” error for the Scan History Daily Details by Vehicle report (due to ASCII symbols being present in a scan, which will now be trimmed).

Time and Attendance (in the Synovia Interface)

  • For customers using a Generic export (and the applicable settings), on the Export Time tab Scheduled Export History, added better error messaging, which will offer more detailed explanations for exceptions, such as “Record in queue not processed. Refresh to see status changing.”

Also added a Show Empty Files toggle at the top right of the screen that, when enabled, will include files that were generated in the selected time frame with 0 results. (This option is off by default, so completed exports without rows won’t appear unless it’s selected.)

Mobile Data Terminals (Version 2021.04)

  • Added the ability for customers to change Pass/Fail inspection items to require that drivers expressly select Pass or Fail (whereas the default setting for this is to have Pass as their automatic value). Note that you’ll have to request that your CSM make this change for you. (CSMs: You do so on the MDT Config tab of the Add/Edit Vehicle Type screen, entering ~FORCE_MARK_PASS_FAIL=1 in the Additional Manual Settings section.)
  • Fixed an issue that was causing a lag when drivers tried to log in to the MDT via SSO (single sign-on), leaving the screen stuck on “Loading.”
  • Fixed a bug that was causing the MDT to crash if the driver entered a numerical value for an inspection item, exited the keypad, went back to it, and then clicked the keypad Backspace/Delete button to try to change the number.
  • In Synovia, fixed an issue on the Mail Details screen of a message that would create a new thread if the Synovia user clicked Reply instead of continuing the same thread with the driver.
