Synovia Site (https://login.synovia.com)

  • Improved the initial load time for the site.
  • On the Add New Location geofence-addition screen, fixed an issue with entering the address in the Address field, which was expecting a comma between the state and zip code, even though addresses aren't usually formatted that way. (Now, instead of using "1234 Main St, Indianapolis, IN, 46240," this field will accept "1234 Main St, Indianapolis, IN 46240" [no comma between "IN" and "46240"].)
  • Fixed a bug that wasn't saving edits to geofences but was instead reverting to the original zone boundary after users clicked Save.
  • Fixed an issue that was turning off access to screens if they belonged to multiple licenses and one license was disabled (even though another active license should have allowed users to view them). This affected several Synovia pages.
  • Fixed an issue with the Speed Graph report that wouldn't load results when it was initially run but would then send pages and pages of returns days later.

Here Comes the Bus

  • For consortium customers, on the Synovia HCTB Settings screen, added a warning if a user selects Auto End Activity When Another Starts on the HCTB Visibility tab if other customers have this turned off of "Warning! Customers in this consortium have different setting values!"
  • In Synovia, fixed an issue with the Activity Mileage Daily Details by Employee and Activity Mileage Daily Details by Vehicle and Employee reports that wasn't displaying just the date in the Date column. (The results included an incorrect timestamp of midnight for each date.)

Synovia API

  • Created a new JSON API for Synovia data, which is a great improvement over our XML API offering in that it will be more secure and significantly faster, its results will be more readable, and the syntax will be easier to use. In the near future, all the existing XML API functionality will be available in the JSON API. If you are a customer who had early access to our JSON API, you will notice some changes that have improved the offering.
