Time and Attendance (in the Synovia Interface)

  • For customers using a Generic export (and the applicable settings), on the Export Time tab Scheduled Export History, added explanations for failed scheduled exports.
  • Fixed an issue with approving absence requests when the account has multiple approvers in place that wasn't informing secondary approvers that they didn't need to respond if an approval was already made up the chain.
  • Fixed an issue with absence request ranks that was allowing rank 2 approvers to delete rank 1 ones.
  • On the Absence Request Rules tab of Portal/MDT Settings, fixed the hierarchy display of the Departments tree under Rule Details.

Here Comes the Bus

  • In Synovia, added Activity Mileage reports to a new report category Activity Reports (under Synovia Reports), which return all the activities run during the specified time range and the mileage for each. These will enable customers to report on exact time and mileage for each vehicle/activity/employee, grouped and summarized by any of those, which will help with billing for field trips and other activities and for calculating the total cost of activities. They also allow customers to account for all miles driven by a vehicle to determine that they were for a specific activity, not personal use.
Note that drivers will need to be certain to stop their activities (or log out) for the mileage to be reported to Synovia correctly.
In this first round of Activity Mileage reports, you'll find Activity Mileage Daily Details by Vehicle, Activity Mileage Details, Activity Details, Activity Mileage by Driver, and Activity Mileage Summary by Vehicle. More Activity Mileage reports are planned for a later release.
  • On the Vehicle History screen, added the ability to plot the historical event path of activities.
