Inspections


  • Built a new engine for processing RGC (reverse geocoding, which means using latitude and longitude values to report the actual address) data for inspections performed via the Synovia app.
  • In Synovia, on the System Administration >> Inspection Setup >> Add New Item screen, added explanatory text for the Prepopulate Value options, reminding the user that a datatype needs to be selected and then that the Default Value Field's drop-down list will only contain fields that match that datatype.


Time and Attendance


  • On TAA-in-Synovia screens with department trees (such as Export Time, Work Monitor, and the Absence Request Rules tab of Portal/MDT Settings), fixed a bug of a parent department not being deselected if a user unchecked one of its child departments.
  • On the TAA-in-Synovia Export Time screen, fixed an issue with scheduling time exports that would select an entire department, even if only a few of its employees had originally been chosen, if a user moved to another screen and then returned to the Schedule tab.
  • Fixed a bug on the TAA-in-Synovia File Settings tab of the Import Employees screen that would store a column name entered for the Punch ID key field, but wouldn't display it in the user interface after the settings were saved and the page refreshed.


Here Comes the Bus


  • On the HCTB website, fixed an issue that wouldn't allow parents to delete an activity zone after they deleted the associated student.
  • Updated student deletion handling to remove all activities for them as well.


Mobile Data Terminals


  • Added the ability for drivers to view and approve work hours from prior weeks. (Previously, only the current week's hours could be seen and approved.)
  • Added options to enter a punch category, location, and comments when clocking in or out or transferring (if these have been enabled in Portal/MDT Settings). These are available in the TAA Portal as well as on the MDT (but not in the Synovia app).
  • Added the ability to add a pop-up dialog box with custom text that will appear on the Home screen (with one button for the drivers to select, "I agree"). This needs to be added by your CSM on the Synovia Preferences >> Settings screen via the Tablet Configuration setting; provide them with the customized text you want.
