Synovia Site (https://login.synovia.com)

  • Added support for return URLs. Previously, if a user left a certain page up and unused for a length of time (such as the Vehicle History screen, https://login.synovia.com/vehicle/history), the session would expire, returning the user to the login screen, and after logging back in, the user would be directed to their default Synovia page. Now, they'll be returned to the page they had open (Vehicle History, in this example).
  • Changed how addresses are handled in alerts, including removing the <A> tag ability from alert templates (which caused latency due to the address lookup from latitude/longitude); instead always displaying the map location where the triggering event occurred on the alert details screen based on latitude and longitude values; and enabling the user to quickly access the alert screen via a URL in the email. Existing templates using <A> will send latitude/longitude instead.
  • Changed the Last Week report filter to begin with Monday's data instead of Sunday's.
  • Fixed issues with bulk loading on multiple screens, such as the upload filename not appearing in the Bulk Load dialog box and the file persisting in the dialog box even if the user canceled the procedure.
  • Fixed some user interface issues with the Add New Alert screen, including correcting validation messages and text overlap when changing the event type.

Time and Attendance

  • In Synovia, added the ability to search by employee ID/punch ID to the Time Cards screen. This implementation is different from legacy TAA; instead of clicking a button and searching in the pop-up, users now just type their search criteria in the employee name drop-down field.
  • Added the TAA report Employee Field Export to the Synovia interface.
  • For the TAA reports that have been ported to Synovia, added two filters — Last Week (TAA) and This Week to Date (TAA) — which will honor the TAA System Settings >> Work Day tab's First Day of Week setting.
  • For the Synovia Time Card screens, added HCTB Activities data, including displaying activity start and end events in the GPS Reference Data grid and the ability to add activities to closed shifts.
  • For a user adding a new employee via the TAA-in-Synovia screens, added a dialog box that offers the option of emailing the new employee their password, if the user selected Create Linked User.
