  • Added new reports, in the category Core >> Heat Maps, that will show users how strong the cellular coverage has been in their area over the selected time period, the satellite count, and where their vehicles are idling. The Cellular Coverage report results will show cellular strength on a color-coded map, with green indicating excellent, yellow good, orange fair, red poor, and dark red no signal. The Satellite Strength report will similarly show how many satellites are being picked up in the area, with 7 or 8 satellites the acceptable (yellow) benchmark and 9 or more in green. The Vehicle Idle report's map will show the lowest 20% of idling events (such as 1-10 if there were a total of 50 idling events) in green on the map, the next 20% in yellow (11-20 if there were 50 events), the third 20% orange, the fourth 20% red, and highest 20% as dark red (41-50 if there were 50).
  • Added a new report to the Core >> Usage group, Authentication History, which lists when users tried to log in to Synovia for a customer's account, including the usernames, email addresses, when the server attempted to authenticate the user, whether they connected or failed, their IP address, and whether they used the Synovia website or app.
  • For reports exported to PDF, added the column headers to each page, plus "Page X of Y" at the bottom right.
  • Added a Bulk Load Update option to the Vehicles screen that will enable users to change vehicle properties in bulk.
  • Removed the Input Billing Details by Vehicle report, as it doesn't work with ALK Maps, Synovia's map provider.
  • Fixed some minor user interface issues on multiple screens, such as inconsistent button text, buttons appearing active when they shouldn't be, unnecessary scroll bars, weird spacing, and misaligned column headers.
  • Fixed a bug that saved a work in progress item when the Add New Vehicle screen was opened and canceled.
  • Fixed a bug that wasn't applying autosizing for columns when users created a custom report view.
  • Fixed a bug that was displaying the incorrect subgroup names in the vehicle tree on the parameters screens for reports when users expanded a primary group.


Time and Attendance


  • In Synovia, changed the Time and Attendance menu option from "Work Monitor (Beta)" to just "Work Monitor."
  • Added an Assign Multiple button to the Assign Schedules screen, which will assign the selected schedule to the chosen employee(s) but leave their check boxes selected so that further changes can be made to the same employee(s). (The current button, Assign Schedule, deselects the employees after it is clicked.)
  • Added the Absence report as one that can be scheduled.
  • Added Excel as an output type users can select when scheduling a report (instead of just PDF).
  • In the TAA Portal, made it possible for an employee to delete or edit an absence request they had previously made that hasn't been approved yet.
  • In the TAA Portal, made it possible for an employee to retract an approved absence request.
  • In the TAA Portal, fixed a bug that produced an error when employees tried to edit an absence request they had previously made that said the request already existed.
