Synovia Site (https://login.synovia.com)

  • Fixed a processing error that sometimes occurred with scheduled reports that wasn't setting the correct start date, according to the common date range specified by the user; it was causing the date to be set far in the past.

Comparative Analysis - Synovia

  • For customers with Student Ridership, added a new Attendance screen, accessible on the Ridership menu, that displays student attendance data users can export to PDF or Excel. It lists the students who scanned on for the selected itineraries, their properties, where the scan occurred, itinerary/route, driver, vehicle, and how many times they scanned each day. (If multiple days are specified, each day will have its own column of data.) Users can choose to show only students with a Medicaid number, and they can launch the Rider History screen for a student by clicking their Info icon.
  • Fixed an issue with student ID numbers with leading zeroes in the database not matching the bar code IDs (without the leading zeroes), and vice versa, causing scans to not appear in Here Comes the Bus or PvA, even though they correctly appeared in the Scan History report.

Time and Attendance

  • Added the Vehicle TD-28 report as one that can be scheduled.
  • Added the ability to create an absence rule with multiple approvers with the same rank, instead of requiring that the approvers have higher and lower rankings.
  • Changed how TAA opens; it no longer launches a new pop-up window. When you log in directly using https://taa.synovia.com in a browser, TAA will open in that window. If you open TAA from the Synovia menu option, it will now appear on a new tab.
  • For customers using the Generic Total Contract by Shift export, fixed a bug on the Export Time screen's Field Mappings tab that cleared all the Header Name values if the user added fields.
  • Fixed a bug with the Vehicle TD-28 report's Exclude Inspections Done Outside of Defined Zones check box, which wasn't preventing results being returned for inspections that weren't performed in the specified zones.
  • For all reports with vehicle selection, fixed an issue that was displaying duplicates in the Vehicle trees.
  • Fixed an issue with the Standard Time Card report that wasn't returning employees' hours when it was scheduled but would work correctly if run manually.
Note: The Work Monitor (on the Synovia site), the subject of the following TAA item, is available currently to just beta test users.
  • For TAA customers, in the Synovia Work Monitor, added the ability for users to choose which columns to display and hide, to drag the columns to change the order in which they're shown, and to save their customized layout.

Engine Diagnostics

  • On the OBDII - Light Duty and J1708/1939 - Heavy Duty screens, changed how the Last Engine Report column data is reported: Now its timestamp will reflect when the database last received valid, new information from the vehicle (not just any data).

MDTs

  • Updated the MDT usage disclaimer language as follows and set the dialog box to automatically close after five minutes if the driver doesn't dismiss it:
    • "Do not attempt to enter route information or adjust this device while driving. Failure to pay full attention to the operation of your vehicle could result in death, serious injury, or property damage. By using this device, you confirm you have read and understand these notices and warnings and you assume total responsibility and risk for using this application."
  • Added an option to display the PIN characters (which are masked by default) when entering the PIN in the Medicaid reimbursement dialog box.
  • Enlarged the buttons on the PIN keypad for the Medicaid reimbursement dialog box.
  • Fixed a bug with the prompt to sync students and stops opening at the same time as the PIN code dialog box (for Medicaid reimbursement) that prevented the PIN code keypad from launching and caused the sync to start when the driver tapped Submit This PIN Code.
