  • Added the ability for users to create their own custom dashboards; for the steps to do so, see the Synovia Knowledge Base article Creating a Custom Dashboard. Note that prebuilt dashboards, including Mileage, Idle, and Speeding, will become available in a later release.
  • Added the ability for users to save reports they run using the new reporting engine, share them with chosen users, and view them on a new Saved Reports screen.
  • Fixed a bug with exporting screens with grids to PDF that wasn't carrying over any sorting or filtering to the PDF.
  • Fixed an issue with creating a Duration alert that wasn't including Zone Entry and Zone Exit as Start Event and End Event options.
  • Fixed a bug with the Vehicle Inspection and Vehicle Inspection Summary reports that wasn't selecting all the drivers in the Select Driver tree if none were selected (the expected behavior).
  • For consortium customers, fixed a bug on the Vehicles screen that wasn't displaying the Transfer button for some operators.


Comparative Analysis - Synovia


  • Fixed an issue that was causing the Scan History reports to take an excessively long time to load results.
  • For consortium customers, fixed a bug in Fleet Tracking and in the Reports (Beta) Itinerary parameter trees that wasn't grouping itineraries by the customer account to which they belong.


Time and Attendance


  • For LINQ customers, added separate trim values for the punch ID and employee ID for exports.
  • Fixed a bug with the validation that is supposed to prevent users from choosing end dates that are prior to start dates on the Shift Exceptions and Schedule Exceptions screens.


NOTE that the Work Monitor (on the Synovia site), the subject of the following TAA items, is available currently to just test users.


  • For TAA customers, in the Synovia Work Monitor, added support for driver substitutions based on driver schedules.
  • Added a Score column to the Work Monitor, which will display the driver performance score using the Event Points system.
  • Made the Vehicle field optional in the Driver Check In pop-up for the Work Monitor.
  • Fixed a bug with the Work Monitor that wasn't displaying split overnight shifts correctly.
  • Fixed a bug with the Work Monitor that was producing an error if an Hourly absence was added for a defined time range that included noon.
  • Fixed a bug that was showing the incorrect shift status in the Work Monitor for an employee's last shift when they have multiple shifts (showing Clocked Out when the first shift should actually be Incomplete).
  • Fixed a typo on the Absent tab of the Work Monitor.
  • Fixed a bug with the Work Monitor's Refresh button (which hadn't been refreshing the data onscreen).
  • Fixed an issue with the calendar pickers on the Check In tab and Absence tab of the Work Monitor that would carry over the date from one tab to the other and not allow the user to select a different day.


Here Comes the Bus


  • Added customized error messages for school districts if parents can no longer use HCTB due to the license being turned off.
  • Replaced the URL in the password reset email sent to parents with "Here Comes the Bus."
  • Fixed an issue that would appear as if a bar code scan was successful in the app even if the database couldn't identify that bar code; now, an error will be produced if the bar code isn't found by the system.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Parent Import alert from being sent out (after a user set one up in Synovia).
