If you need to modify an inspection group, such as changing its name and adding or removing items in it, follow these steps:

Note: If you need to create a new item to add to the group, complete the steps at Creating an Inspection Form Item before following the procedure below.


  1. Click  >> Inspection Setup.

    The Inspection Setup screen's Templates tab will appear.
     
      
  2. Click the Groups tab.
      
  3. Click  in the row of the group you want to change.
     
    The Edit Group screen will appear.
      
  4. If you need to change the name of the inspection group, select the text in the Name box and type its new title.
     
  5. If you need to add items to the group, in the Available Items grid, select the check boxes to the left of their names and click .
     
    The items will appear in the Items in Group grid.
     
  6. If you need to remove items from the group, select their check boxes in the Items in Group grid and click .
     
    The new items will have the order number from the Items tab.
     
  7. To move an item higher or lower in the list (and thus its placement in the group), follow these steps:
     
    1. Click its current value in the Order column.
       
      The field will become editable.
        
    2. Type the value of the placement you want for the item, such as 1 to place it first in the group.
       
    3. Repeat steps a and b for all the items in the group.
        
  8. Click  at the top right of the screen.
     
    You'll be returned to the Groups tab of the Inspection Setup screen, and if you changed the group's name, the new title will appear in the list.
