On the HCTB Settings screen, you can specify the minimum and maximum size parents can choose when setting their Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) notification radius. The notification radius is a measurement for the circular region around their student's bus stop; when the bus enters this area, the parent will be sent an email and/or push notification (as they have specified), notifying them that it is on its way.

To set the minimum and maximum radius size parents can select, follow these steps:


  1. Click  >> HCTB Settings.
     
    The HCTB Settings screen will appear.
      
  2. Click the Minimum Radius drop-down arrow.
      
  3. Select the smallest radius you will allow HCTB account holders to choose: 250, 500, or 1000 feet.
     
  4. Click the Maximum Radius drop-down arrow.
      
  5. Select the largest radius you will allow HCTB account holders to choose: 1 mile, 2 miles, or 3 miles.
     
  6. Click  at the top right of the screen.
