  4. Click the Alert Type drop-down arrow and select Route Import Alert.

  5. Click the Event drop-down arrow and select Route Import Server Failure (or Route Import Client Failure).

  6. Click the Priority drop-down arrow and select the level of importance for this alert: Low, Medium, or High.

  7. On the right, choose the days of the week you want this alert to be active by clicking their selectors. ( means selected, and  deselected.)

  8. Click the Start Time and End Time time pickers and select 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

  9. Choose how people will be notified about the alert under Delivery, as follows:

    • SMS: Everyone with the selected role(s) will be texted.

    • Email: Everyone with the selected role(s) will be emailed the alert.
Note: You can select both options or just one of them.
  10. Further down on the page (under Message), click in the Message field and type the message you'd like those alerted to receive, such as, "CA import failure."

  11. In the Roles area, click the selectors of the roles you want to receive the alert.

  12. In the Groups area, select All Vehicles.
Note: You can ignore the Zones tab for this alert.
  13. If you want to exclude certain users from the alert, set those by clicking the Exclusions tab and then selecting the check boxes to the left of the usernames to exclude in the Users box.

Note: Excluded users won't receive the alert, even if they have the selected role.

You don't need to consider excluding vehicles for this alert.
  14. Click  at the top right of the screen.

Your alert will be saved and appear in the Alert Admin list.
