If there's an alert you think you might need in the future but don't need right now, you might want to make it inactive rather than delete it. An inactive alert still exists in your system but doesn't look for the triggering event or send notifications.


To make an alert inactive, follow these steps:


  1. Click  >> Alert Admin.
     
    The Alert Admin screen will appear.
     
  2. Click the check box at the far left of the row of the alert you want to inactivate.
      
  3. Click  at the top right of the screen.
     
    The Active icon for the selected alert will change from XjyDkiaCFKa7N1TpPWlFQP3dUwzVHftYAA.png (active) to XjyDkiaCFKa7N1TpPWlFQP3dUwzVHftYAA.png (inactive), and the alert will no longer be triggered.
    Note: To reactivate the alert, select its check box on the left and click .
