Silverlining

  • Fixed an issue that caused Silverlining to ignore speed limits that had been adjusted by the customer when reporting the Speeding event.

  • Fixed an issue with the Silverlining Work Monitor reporting an employee clocked in even if they were clocked out on the Time Card screen in TAA.

  • Added the ability to enable Navigation for just specific vehicles in a customer’s fleet (rather than only have the option to turn it on for the whole fleet). Customers can set Navigation to Yes or No individually on the System Administration >> Vehicles screen.

  • Added two columns to the Vehicle History export to Excel to help diagnose latency issues: the date and time the information was stored by the server and the latency (the difference in minutes between when an event occurred and when the server received the data).

  • Made the way mileage was calculated match for the Fuel Economy and daily Mileage reports. (Before, the mileage numbers would differ for the two reports because they were figured differently. Now the same system of measuring is used for both.)

Synovia App

  • Fixed a bug that affected the capability to change ESNs.

Silverlining Mobile

  • Fixed an issue that caused an error when trying to log in.

New Synovia Site (https://login.synovia.com)

Comparative Analysis

  • For BusBoss customers, installed an application that will upload their routes to Synovia’s servers regularly so that customers will not have to go to two different places to access their data.

  • Fixed an issue that caused stop duplicates for some EDULOG SQL customers.

  • For EDULOG SQL customers, optimized the logic for student and student property processing, including a new setting for the student’s birthdate.

  • For EDULOG SQL customers, implemented logic that prevents a student who is in both the general education and special education databases from being processed twice.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented waypoints from being displayed on the PvA screen.

Time and Attendance

  • Added the capability to choose from four time ranges for the guarantee for the Total Contract Time by Shift export – AM, PM, Midday, and Evening – which you set on the Employee Type Hours tab of Admin >> Employee Types.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the Totals section to not appear on the Time Card screen if the customer switched from one employee to another using the employee drop-down list.

  • Added a new export, Individual Shifts, which is almost the same as Individual Scans, except that it returns only one row per shift – one row with both the In and Out date and time.

  • Added an option on the Calculations tab of Admin >> System Settings to show FTE on the Time Card screen. When this is selected, the FTE will appear on both the Time Card header and Edit Time Card screen.

  • Added a Help button that links to the main Time and Attendance help page.

 Route Builder

  • Fixed a bug that wouldn’t allow the School Serviced to be changed in a copied, uncommitted snapshot.

 Here Comes the Bus

  • Added a History tab to HCTB Messaging that stores the past messages that were sent to parents.

 Engine Diagnostics

  • Fixed how fuel usage is calculated for 3030s and heavy-duty units using the v144 protocol.

  • For CalAmp LMUs (not Micronet), changed JBUS General Fault alerts to be sent only for fault codes that are severe enough to warrant stopping the vehicle.

Micronet A317 MDT

  • Fixed a bug that made the passengers-on-board number incorrect (both reporting too many passengers and too few, in different cases) if the student who scanned on the bus was unknown or if the MDT has Disable Ridership Verification selected.

  • Fixed a bug that crashed the app from the dim screen.

  • Fixed an issue that caused students with leading zeroes in their ID numbers to not be recognized when they scanned on the bus (or if the import information did have leading zeroes but the students’ IDs didn’t).

  • Fixed a bug that caused no options to appear on the Transfer screen under certain conditions, so employees were unable to transfer from one job to another.

  • For Navigation, made the current stop automatically close if the vehicle passed through the stop radius (for example, if no student was waiting at that stop).

  • If Navigation is on and the MDT is powered off (or crashes), made it so that Navigation will automatically pick back up where it was when the MDT is powered back on.

  • Added version numbers for VBS, the ALK maps, and CoPilot to the Hardware screen.

  • Stopped the CoPilot pop-up message from appearing. Before, if a driver inadvertently touched the red line button while in Navigation, CoPilot (our navigation engine) would pop up a message asking if the driver wanted to exit CoPilot, and the driver wouldn’t always know how to dismiss the message.
