Silverlining

  • Added the option to input the actual speed value for the Posted Speed Threshold, Max Speed Threshold, and Zone Speed Threshold settings. Currently, these can be inputted only as a percentage; going forward, the customer will be able to use either an actual value OR a percentage (by adding a percent sign). The default will be a percentage.

  • For bulk loading of student data, if the latitude/longitude information isn't available, added the capability for the software to use the addresses to create the latitude/longitude values.

  • Fixed a bug in the Underutilized Vehicle and Mileage Summary by Vehicle reports that stopped them from returning results if only a one-day period was entered.

  • Instead of adding the capability to export the student list to Excel to the Student Module, added a Student Property by Property report, which can be used to return student first and last names, the school they attend, and the specified property (such as import district ID).

  • Fixed a bug that froze the screen on the Please Wait message when running the Driver reports – on the parameters screen and when waiting for the results.

  • On the Defect History screen, when an item is expanded, the user can add a note (in the Note column in the grid on the right). Fixed the bug that copied the note to the Added By column, which now instead displays the name of the user who made the note.

  • Added the capability for the Mileage reports to list vehicles that have a distance traveled of zero, to help identify unused vehicles.

  • Updated the copyright date to 2017 (and made the value pulled rather than hard-coded).

  • Added a Scan History Daily Summary by Student report, which summarizes scan data.

  • Fixed the percentage calculations in the Hardware Health report.

 Comparative Analysis

  • Added support for the Table Field List package for Trapeze (Oracle and SQL) customers, which enables a partial import run that provides data about table columns and possible values. This will help to prevent failed imports.

  • Added the file transfer capability for Trapeze (Oracle and SQL) customers.

  • Changed the boarding card processing for EDULOG.nt customers, which will help avoid a bug that caused cards to be deactivated.

  • Fixed an issue with LineString points that caused import run errors.

  • Fixed an issue with Transfinder on the server side that caused waypoints to be reprocessed and the status of the route import to always be In Process.

  • Fixed a bug in Planned vs. Actual (PvA) that showed no students assigned to stops for EDULOG SQL customers. The problem was in the way school tier programs were being processed.

  • Updated the SynoviaRouteImporter to Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.

  • For BusPlanner and EDULOG, added prefixes to all entities for the special education database. This fixed the issue of incorrect stop locations caused by duplication of routes with the same numbers (such as route 100 in both the general ed and special ed databases – now they'll come in as 100 and S100).

  • Fixed itinerary package processing for itinerary mapping when running a partial import for Trapeze (Oracle) customers.

  • Fixed a bug that caused some school data to not be processed during the import for Versatrans customers.

  • Added the ability to order by column to the snapshot stops.

  • Updated each CA import client to bring in the stop order and store it in the snapshot.

  • Made sure that regular time instead of military time appeared in the School Arrival reports.

  • Added an Actual Departure Time column to the Arrival Detail by Vehicle report.

  • Added support to truncate leading zeroes when receiving student scans.

Time and Attendance

  • Changed the Standard Time Card reports to include a section with either the text "Employee Approved on mm/dd/yyyy" or "Employee Approval Needed," except for customers who have Use Employee Approval Logic disabled.

  • Fixed a bug that didn't allow for new employee fields to be populated with data due to an Invalid Data Format error.

  • On the Shift Exceptions screen, added the ability to right-click an invalid punch ID and delete that shift.

  • Tightened password security by removing the password from the session variable.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented some employees from accessing the TAA Portal, due to a join not being updated for the employee type assignment.

  • Added a new parameter to the Standard Time Card report (Show Employees with No Time?), which will include all full-time employees, even if they didn't log in at all over the selected time period.

  • Added the ability to view schedules on the Time Card edit screen.

  • Made sure that rounded clock-in and clock-out times are used for calculating employee hours when using a Total Contract Time by Shift export (and in the Total Contract Time by Shift Time Card report).

  • Fixed a bug that brought up the warning about leaving a screen without saving changes when you clicked a stop in the Snapshots panel – even though no changes had been made.

Here Comes the Bus

  • Fixed a bug that caused the student's first name only to appear on the My Account page.

  • Removed an empty drop-down list that is no longer used from the Update Contacts dialog box.

  • Added the time of day (such as AM, MID, and PM) to substitution notifications.

  • Added support for sending HCTB Messaging notices in batches instead of just one at a time.

  • Added a Select All check box at the top of the Schools and Vehicles lists for HCTB Messaging that includes ALL buses or ALL schools for customized messaging; when the message is sent, a confirmation dialog box appears, asking the user to confirm that he or she wants to send this to all the schools or vehicles.

Micronet A317 MDT

  • Added the vehicle name and fleet ID to the results returned by the Event History by Fleet API call.
