If you input a vehicle's current odometer setting into Synovia, the software will keep incrementing the value based on mileage data from the GPS device. You may want to periodically verify that the odometer reading matches this setting and go in and tweak it to keep it up-to-date.

To input the odometer setting, follow these steps:

1. Click  >> Vehicles.
    
2. In the Vehicles list, click  to the left of the vehicle's number.
    
   The Edit Vehicle screen will appear.
    
3. Click the Misc tab.
       
4. Select the value in the Odometer box and type the vehicle's current odometer reading.
    
5. Click  at the top right of the screen.
