The Reports screen has options that enable you to quickly search through the listed reports and change their sort order, as shown in the following two sections.

Searching Through the Reports


To find a specific report, follow these steps:


  1. Click  >> Reports.
     
    The Reports screen will appear and list the CalAmp K-12 reports that are currently available by category on the left. By default, My Recent Reports will be selected.
     
     
  2. Click the category you want to search or sort on the left, under Report Categories. (Select Synovia Reports if you want to find a report among all the standard reports; if you need a Time and Attendance [TAA] one, click TAA Reports.)
     
    All the reports available in the category will appear in a list on the right. If you chose Synovia Reports, they will be organized by type (such as Planned vs. Actual by Stop or Alerts).
      
  3. In the Search box, type part of the report name.
     
  4. Press Enter or click .
     
    Only reports that match your search criteria will be displayed in the list.
      
  5. Click the name of the report you want to run. (For guidance on how to run a report, see Running a Report.)


Sorting the Reports


To change the sort order for the reports, follow these steps:


  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 of the preceding section to open the reports category you want to sort, such as Synovia Reports.
     
    All the reports available in the category will appear in a list on the right.
      
  2. Click the Sort By drop-down arrow at the top right and select the sort type you'd like. The options are as follows:
        
    • Scope: Sorts by the type of the report, alphabetically, starting with the first type under the subcategory of reports you have available. If you are sorting the Synovia Reports category and have the Comparative Analysis subcategory, the list will begin with Planned vs. Actual by Stop, Route Performance, School Arrival (Bell Time), School Arrival (Route Time), and so on. If Core is the first subcategory under your Synovia Reports, these will be the first types of reports displayed: Alerts, Driver Performance, Driver Summary, Event Count, Hardware Health, and so on. Scope is the default sort order for the Synovia Reports and TAA Reports categories.
       
    • Report Name: Sorts alphabetically by the specific name of the report (under each report type on the right, for the Synovia Reports and TAA Reports categories).
       
    • Last Run by Me: Sorts using the dates and times when you ran the reports, with the most recent on top (using the Last Run by Me column). This is the default sort order for the My Recent Reports and Favorite Reports categories.
       
    • Times Run by Me: Sorts by the number of times you have run the reports, with the most frequently run report on top (using the Times Run by Me column).
       
    • Times Run by Account: Sorts by the number of times everyone in your organization has run the reports, with the most frequently run report on top (using the Times Run by Account column). This is the default sort order for the Popular Account Reports category.
       
    • Times Run by All Accounts: Sorts by the number of times every CalAmp K-12 customer has run the reports, with the most frequently run report on top (using the Times Run by All Accounts column). This is the default sort order for the Popular Synovia Reports category.
       
  3. After selecting one of the preceding sort types, you can change the sort order from descending (highest number on top, or Z to A) to ascending (lowest number on top, or A to Z) by clicking , which will change to  (and vice versa to go from ascending to descending).
